From January 1st 2012, you will also need to log on to use licensed resources at University of Copenhagen locations

To University of Copenhagen users of CULIS’ information resources

Currently University of Copehagen staff and students access CULIS’ information resources by logging on via remote access from home, while traveling, while not at the University of Copenhagen and at the Faculty Libraries of Social Sciences, Humanties and Natural and Health Sciences.

Log on to licensed resources hasn’t been necessary when you have been at the University of Copenhagen or one of the CULIS libraries located there (Life, Pharmaceutical Science, Law, Theology).

From January 1st, all registered CULIS users will need to log on, no matter where they are.
This decision has been made because CULIS needs to be able to deliver faculty specific usage reports so the expenses can be distributed among the faculties, as well as gathering data about which types of resources are used by the individual faculties.

The University of Copenhagen approves of this decision.

Are you a student or staff at the University of Copenhagen?

This change means that you will need to log on to http://www.kb.dk/en or  http://www.kb.dk/rex - exactly as you already do when you are not at the University of Copenhagen and use remote access to use the electronic resources at CULIS.

We hope to be able to offer automatic access to CULIS’ electronic resources when you log on to KUnet, but this solution is technically complicated and thus hasn’t been implemented yet.
